Hosted by Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery and the Chehalem Cultural Center, the second annual festival will take place March 13–14, 2026, at the newly built LaJoie Theatre and Grand Ballroom. Presale festival passes are available now for $99 through Nov. 21, with prices increasing to $139 on Nov. 22.

Headlined by Shadowgrass from Galax, Virginia—whose guitarist Kyser George recently won Instrumentalist of the Year from the IBMA Momentum Awards—the lineup features 12 national, regional, and local acts, including The Fretliners, Never Come Down, Two Runner, Magoo, Skillethead, and more. The weekend will also include open jam sessions, workshops, an “Instrument Petting Zoo,” craft beverage tastings, and family-friendly activities such as a community pancake breakfast and Kid Zone.

“Newgrass is our love letter to the modern bluegrass movement—and to Newberg,” said Christian DeBenedetti, Newberg native and founder of Wolves & People. “We’re bringing together blazing pickers, soulful songwriters, and the kind of warm, community hospitality the Willamette Valley is known for.”

LucidWild Donates Portion of Wine Sales to Dundee Elementary

DUNDEE, Ore. — LucidWild Estate is giving back to the community this holiday season through its annual Holiday Give Back program.

Throughout November, the Dundee Hills winery will donate 15% of all Fusion Pinot Noir bottle sales — both in the tasting room and online — to support academic resources at Dundee Elementary. The donation will be made on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2.

“Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed,” said LucidWild proprietor Blair Nicholas. “Supporting local education where many of the children of agricultural workers are educated is one of the most meaningful ways we can give back.”

The funds will help provide classroom tools and materials that enrich learning experiences for local students. Nicholas said the effort reflects LucidWild’s broader mission to foster growth, opportunity, and success within the community year-round.

Bottles of Fusion Pinot Noir can be purchased in person or online at lucidwildestate.com.

LucidWild Estate is a family-owned winery in the Dundee Hills specializing in small-lot Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines.

Springbrook Hazelnut Farm, Property that Houses Wolves & People, Up for Sale

NEWBERG, Ore. — Real estate sleuths saw a unique property go up for sale last week when the Springbrook Hazelnut Farm on NE Benjamin Rd., home of Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery, was listed for sale for $3.5 million

The 21-and-a-half-acre property at 30295 N Highway 99W was established in 1912, according to the real estate listing on Redfin. It features a 6,700 square foot residence with seven bedrooms, three full and three half baths, an inground pool, tennis court, hazelnut orchard, pond, gardens, a 662 squarefoot caretaker’s cottage, a 913 square foot carriage house, and a 5,000 square foot barn that currently houses Wolves & People.

The brewery is currently leasing the barn, with the option for the new owner to renew the lease. The brewery is owned separately by Christian DeBenedetti. According to county tax records, the property is owned by Springbrook Farm Estate LLC, which lists five owners, including DeBenedetti.

According to the listing, the EF-20, or exclusive farm use, zoning may allow for a future owner-occupied bed & breakfast, farm-to-table retreat, or agri-business expansion.

“Springbrook Hazelnut Farm has long been a cornerstone of Oregon’s food and wine culture, home to early cooperages, pioneering wineries, and now a celebrated farmhouse brewery,” the listing states.

DeBenedetti declined to comment on the sale of the property.
