Dos Mundos Closes Food Cart on 1st, Announces Dos Mundos Garden
Dos Mundos, a Mexican-American food truck with two locations in Newberg, has announced the closure of its food truck at The Bite of Newberg at 901 E. 1st Street. However, its food truck outside the Trading Post at 2305c Portland Rd. will continue operations.
In an Instagram post, Dos Mundos shared plans to establish “Dos Mundos Garden,” an organic garden intended to grow produce for limited specials featured on Dos Mundos’ menu.
“We are very fortunate to have an amazing group of people looking after us and helping us during challenging times,” stated the Instagram post. “Without your support and love for Dos Mundos, we would not be able to produce good food and bring the community together.”

PCC Newberg Seeking Language Exchange Participants
Portland Community College (PCC) in Newberg is seeking English-speaking participants for a language exchange program that pairs them with PCC Spanish-speaking students.
The program is free for participants and pairs them a few evenings a week during the summer season.

Community Drop-In Center Requests Donations
The Community Drop-In Center at 504 E. 1st Street in Newberg is requesting supply donations from residents to help the center continue providing services for people in Newberg who need food, shelter, and a place to recover during weather events.
The center is seeking sugar, powdered coffee creamer, coffee grounds, bottled water, paper plates, paper bowls, and gloves for food service.
Donated items can be dropped off at the drop-in center between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Learn more about the Community Drop In Center at its website or follow their Facebook page for consistent updates.
