Penner-Ash Wine Cellars announced the addition of a new tasting room called The Pavilion, open for tastings starting Friday, August 18.
“The Legacy Tasting is an immersive experience at Penner-Ash hosted in the newly constructed pavilion,” according to a press release from Penner-Ash, “Nestled in the gardens, the Pavilion provides a serene and private space.”
The winery will offer separate tastings from their traditional tasting experience called Legacy Tasting, where customers will be guided through an immersive wine tasting in a private space. Wines at the Legacy Tasting are sourced from the Estate Vineyard and “other exceptional grower vineyards in the Willamette Valley.”
Penner-Ash Wine Cellars was founded in 1998 by Lynn and Ron Penner-Ash on Ribbon Ridge Road in Newberg, Ore. In 2016, the winery joined Jackson Family Wines, a winery conglomerate based in Santa Rosa, Calif. Jackson Family Wines also owns Gran Moraine, WillaKenzie Estate, and Zena Crown Vineyard, all in Yamhill, Ore.
Tastings at The Pavilion are $75 per person, waived with a $200 minimum wine purchase. Penner-Ash club members can enjoy a Legacy Tasting for $25 per member. Reservations are required.
