Trick-or-Treat Street

Downtown businesses will stay open late to hand out candy, treats, and treasures to trick-or-treaters of all ages. Event sponsor Stoller Wine Bar – Newberg plans to bring a spooky photo booth to Francis Square.

Organized by the Newberg Downtown Coalition, this family-friendly event is free, encourages costumes, and features volunteers from Kiwanis and the City of Newberg helping keep everyone safe by serving as crossing guards along busy streets.

Trunk-or-Treat

Friday, Oct. 31, 5–7 p.m.
Red Hills Church at the Hopp Insurance parking lot, 804 E. First St.

In partnership with Trick-or-Treat Street, the Red Hills Kids are hosting a trunk-or-treat. Anyone is welcome to host a trunk, volunteer for setup or teardown, or help serve drinks and donut holes.

This event is especially friendly for babies and elementary-aged children.

Día de Muertos

Thursday, Oct. 30, 5–8 p.m.
Chehalem Cultural Center, 415 E. Sheridan St.

Celebrate the Day of the Dead with the Chehalem Cultural Center, which is hosting groups to share the evolution of traditional and contemporary Día de los Muertos traditions through food, music, dance, and art.

This event is free.

Newberg High School Bonfire

Tuesday, Oct. 28, 6–9 p.m.
Newberg High School, 2400 Douglas Ave.

The NHS bonfire will be lit at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine, near the tennis courts on the north side of campus. Enjoy food trucks and music with your fellow students and families.

Help the Hawthrone Loop Light Show SCARE awal Alzheimer’s Disease! One of Newberg’s favorite christmas light houses is stepping into spooky season with a spectacular light show every day until the end of the month. All donations to go fighting Alzheimer’s disease. When you’re driving by, tune your radtio to 102.7 FM to listen to get the full experience!

Haunted Church Dance Party with DJ NoN

Pirates of Pinehurst

Visitors to Sherwood can stroll along Pinehurst Court to see elaborate Halloween decorations featuring animatronics, lights, fog, and a 10-minute show.
