The daylong event aims to celebrate the rise of traditional method sparkling wine in Oregon—a category that’s seen explosive growth in both quality and acclaim. The event kicks off with a morning panel moderated by wine writer and educator Julia Coney, featuring three industry leaders who helped build the state’s sparkling wine identity: Rollin Soles of ROCO Winery, Andrew Davis of Radiant Sparkling Wine Company, and Kate Payne Brown, head winemaker at Argyle Winery.
Together, they’ll offer an insider look at Oregon’s sparkling story—from its pioneering beginnings to the challenges of scaling production, and where it’s headed next. Panel topics include the mechanics of bottle fermentation, the chemistry behind long tirage aging, and the evolving market for Oregon bubbles.
“There’s real momentum in this category,” said Coney. “Oregon sparkling is no longer a secret—it’s a movement, and this panel gives people a chance to hear directly from those who shaped it.”
The panel is exclusive to All Access ticket holders, who are also served a wine-paired lunch, an early VIP tasting hour, and time to meet the winemakers. All Access tickets are limited to 50 and available at $250 each.
The afternoon Grand Tasting, open from 2 to 5 p.m., showcases more than 50 traditional method sparkling wines from 22 Oregon wineries. All wines poured have undergone at least 15 months of tirage, the process of aging on the lees after a secondary fermentation in the bottle—a hallmark of fine sparkling wine.
Wineries featured at the event represent both seasoned icons and emerging stars in Oregon’s sparkling scene. Attendees can expect pours from acclaimed producers like Argyle, Domaine Serene, ROCO (RMS), and Soter, alongside newer names making waves with their bubbles, including Arabilis, Mellen Meyer, and Maison Jussiaume.
The full lineup includes: Adelsheim, Arabilis, Argyle, Corollary, Domaine Serene, Domaine Willamette, Elk Cove, Flâneur, Goodfellow, Gran Moraine, Lundeen, Lytle-Barnett, Maison Jussiaume, Mellen Meyer, Pashey, Ponzi, RMS by ROCO, R. Stuart & Co., Sokol Blosser, Soter, Stoller, and Winderlea.
All general admission tickets include gourmet small bites from Domaine Willamette’s culinary team, designed to pair beautifully with the high-acid, vibrant wines being poured. General admission tickets are $150 and include access to the full tasting experience.
Tickets for both general admission and All Access experiences are on sale now at methodoregon.com.
