Chehalem Cultural Center is excited to announce that registration is now open for their Spring Break Art Camps for youth and teens running March 25 – 27 (Full & Half Day)!
Designed as a survey of art mediums to spark curiosity and creativity, Spring Break and Summer campers are led through fun activities like creating their own robot, collaborating on group murals, and even developing an entire performance in one week, culminating in a performance in our Grand Ballroom.

“At Art Camp, we welcome campers to explore weekly themes and get fully invested in their art making. We work with clay, collage, painting, sensory experiences, model-making, and so much more!” said Clara-Liis Hillier, Education Manager at the CCC. “Kids will get messy, make friends, and be inspired to create even beyond camp hours!”
As a core part of its mission, Chehalem Cultural Center believes in keeping art accessible to all and no request for a scholarship is denied! Those interested in sliding-scale pricing are invited to reach out to Education@ChehalemCulturalCenter.org or call (503) 487-6883 for more information about their scholarship program, which is open to all ages for any class.
In addition to Spring Break Camp, the CCC offers multiple Summer Art Camps and a Summer Teen Studio. These tend to fill up quickly, so community members are invited to sign up for the notification list to be the first to hear when registration is announced.
