NEWBERG, Ore. — Organizers have announced the full schedule and workshop lineup for the Newgrass Brews & Bluegrass Festival, set for March 13–14 at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg.
The festival, presented by Wolves & People Brewing and the Chehalem Cultural Center, will feature performances by 12 national, regional, and local bands, along with seven workshops, food and beverage vendors, KidZone activities, and a free community pancake breakfast.
More than 300 passes have been sold, with one-day and two-day passes still available. Youth passes are available with the purchase of an adult pass.
The festival opens Friday, March 13, with food trucks and vendors beginning at 3 p.m., followed by performances from Josh Cole at 4 p.m., DadWeed at 5 p.m., Skillethead at 6:30 p.m., and The Fretliners at 8 p.m. Beer, wine, and cider tastings with participating makers will also be offered.
Saturday’s schedule begins with a free community pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Workshops begin at 10 a.m. and include sessions on flat-picking guitar, mandolin, melodic banjo, vocal fundamentals, fiddle, jamming basics, and harmony singing.
Performances on Saturday include Filthy Skillets at 2 p.m., Moon Mountain String Band at 3 p.m., Mountaintop Sound at 4 p.m., Two-Runner at 5 p.m., Magoo at 6 p.m., Never Come Down at 7 p.m., and Shadowgrass at 8 p.m. KidZone activities and an instrument petting zoo will run from 1 to 8 p.m., with vendors and tastings beginning at 1 p.m.
The Newgrass Brews & Bluegrass Festival was founded in 2024 and is curated by Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery.
