The appointed candidate will serve through June 30, 2025, according to a release from the school district. Applicants must be registered voters and have resided in Zone 1 for at least one year. If no qualified candidates from Zone 1 apply, the board may consider applicants from other zones within the district.
Interested parties can submit a letter of interest to Tabitha Renne via mail (714 E. 6th St, Newberg, OR 97132) or email. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on March 3 and should be submitted to Renne via mail or email as well.
According to the school district, Newberg-Dundee Public Schools is governed by a seven-member board of directors. All board members are volunteers and receive no compensation.
