The Newberg SummerFest is coming back to fill Newberg with live music, craft brews, wine, food, and fun at Memorial Park. Last year, the event counted around 2,000 people according to fest Advertising Coordinator Shelley Kolb.

The annual festival is a celebration of summer with proceeds going toward supporting international service efforts in La Plata, Colombia by the Joint International Service Committee of the Rotary Clubs of Newberg Early Birds, Sherwood, and Wilsonville, according to the SummerFest Website.
The two days are packed with events to keep festival-goers busy. Live music acts (see below) are anchored by ongoing events scattered through out the day. Food and drink from local vendors will be available as well.
SummerFest is also a dog-friendly event! Dogs are welcome on leash around the festival grounds, and if you’ve got a dachshund lying on the couch, make sure and enter them into the Wiener Dog Race to test their mettle against other hasty hounds.
Newberg SummerFest takes place at Memorial Park from Friday, August 25 to Saturday, August 26, 2023. Entrances to the fest are on Blaine and Howard Streets. Entrance is free for attendees under 21-years-old, and $5 for 21-years-old and older. Participants under 21-years-old must be accompanied by someone 21-years-old or older. Outside food and beverage is not allowed.
